God Has Made A Way, His Name Is JESUS! by Rev.. Dr. Fred M. Lassonde

When I was young and walking home from school one day

I asked God to let me be a Baseball Player and then a Minister

Well when I graduated from High School and went on my way

I ended up in Florida playing Baseball but then something sinister

My Baseball Career was cut short by my Dad getting very very ill

He had major surgery and I had to go back and be there on the Farm

Was given six years and all expenses paid but it was not God's will

For those sic years went by and no seventh offered it was not a charm

Then after some years of Farming I became very ill and was not to live

Was given two years no more as I had fallen close to deaths door

There while very sick and in bed I wondered what do I have left to give

Then it occurred to me pray, study and read as you can do no more

So that is what I did and still I ended up in the hospital many a time

Yet two years went by then five and then ten and on I have gone

All the while praying, studying, reading and also given to rhyme

As I see how Faithful God can be as He has given me a new song

Not only that a new life too as I am up and alive and was to be dead in 2005

So what does all of this mean and why did I go through all I went through

Well what I know now is because God has a plan for us and that is no jive

He can use us to His Glory and if you let Him He will go on to use even you!

For God is no respecter of persons and if He used me He will use you

Yet you must come to Him and become His child, come to Jesus

Come to Jesus and call on Him allow Him to guide you in all you do

For God the Father gave us His Son to save and to reconcile us

So here I be in the year 2014 and today an Ordained Minister for Jesus

I no longer sleep my days away and my heart has truly been made well

Am 12 years older and know God wants no one to perish and does Love us

Yet there are those who will not come to Jesus but go to a Devils hell

My 60th birthday is less than a month away and Life is better than ever

After all I am still here and God has me and allows me to share His Word

I am not dead spiritually nor bodily and have been saved by Jesus forever

Just think what God can do for you for with Jesus your soul can be assured!
