The Sound Is Love

Contributed by texasman on Wednesday, 18th June 2014 @ 06:44:24 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I follow a though
From time to time
I see it move
Along a then red line

It glows with warmth
And a calming light
like nothing I have seen
In any night

It sings a song
That covers its past
and then it becomes
A crescent mass

Moving threw my mind
And winters bound
it was there that it became
A soothing sound,

It flowed so gently
Thru time and space
landing there
In that calming place

I see the sound
As it burst with light
it helps me thru
My black of night

And the sound is love
And I can here it say
that I am here
And here I’ll stay

I'm also sixty and no, thinking about love and the desire for it does not stop.

I really like this poem but you may want to check your spelling a bit closer. It detracts from the flow.

I follow a though
(thought?)
Moving threw my mind
(through...threw is the past tense of throw)
Thru is actually spelled through.

So anyways, photo 1036153111_gif.gif to YPDC. It is a great place. Part of what it makes it a great place is that people come on here and actually read poems and, like me, we also comment on them. We take our time out to post and read and comment. It would be a very sad and boring place if we were like you and just came on here to post poems and then leave. Imagine that. We only knew how to write poems and not how to read them. What would be the point? Post our poems and then, poof, gone. Would be sad if we all did that.

Don't mean to come off mean, but do you see my point? What's the point of writing and sharing if no one reads or comments?

Take care,

Tim
