The Lying School of No Hope At All by Rev. Dr. Fred M. Lassonde

My dear friend do you realize this

that hope deferred makes the heart sick

Most everyone knows hope amiss

because to dreams they did not stick

If you wish your hopes to prevail

then no matter what keep on trying

examples show the people who did not fail

they kept trying even when hurt and crying

For most of the important things done

have come from people who did not stop

even though no hope at all, they won

all because they did not flip flop

They believed and persisted in their dreams

had hope beyond hope and did not give in

so keep going no matter how hard it seems

do not give up or you will never win

Learn from the lying School of No Hope

it is relentless but has a lesson taught

for if you seem to be at the end of your rope

do not give up, do not be distraught

Just keep on doing, keep trying

for in this World you need to believe

even when dashed dreams leave you crying

you gotta go on if you wish to achieve

Now no hope at all is not true

for God has supplied hope to us

He has given a dream for you

So hold on, and believe in Jesus!
