Stranger in a strange land,
There once was a young boy,
who lost his next of kin.
Bereft of their support,
he went to the port of call.
To a land far far away,
hoping he would find a place to stay.
A place to call home again.
To find out, he is a stranger,
in a strange land.
Trying to make the best of it,
with some help from friendly people.
Feeling the support again,
he so badly needs.
But still he is a stranger in a strange land,
who has to pay the rent.
Just like the rest of us do.
And still it seems,
he is somehow unwanted.
Cause people think it's strange,
how he goes about his affairs.
He listen, he had to grow up,
without a family how would you fare?
Without parents to raise you,
it's hard to come trough.
The years of adolescence.
Still you can feel his presence,
cause his life is of the essence.
No he does not always behave,
and still he has to behave.
Figuring things out,
the best he can.
So i break the ban,
cause it's a public sham.
We can be so hostile,
to people who've been trough hell.
Tell me do you know him well,
to call him names and give him a hard time?
Did you ever hear his side of the story,
the pain and heartbreak?
Do you feel for him like a brother,
or will you leave him to bother.
As a stranger in a strange land.
A land that can't seem to decide.
A land where even the stranger pays the rent,
just like we do.
A land where the stranger is often left outside alone,
to fend for himself.
And we call ourselves civilized,
still the stranger is often much apprised.
With the feeling,
this new land often does not feel like a place,
they can call home again.
