Epiphany

On the green sideways,
I took my feet
Down the long road,
Seeing the sun climb into
The cold morning blue;
I found the dark dense
Sand in the dawn,
Each cutting grain
A mote in the eyes
Of my love, a kiss
In my great unfolding
Fragile epiphany
