Free To Roam

This poem moves mountains
with strength and agility
absorbs life from a Colosseum of flowers
and we can breathe more easily (peacefully)
The hanging gardens in ruins
erupting brighter than Vesuvius glow
teems a colossus titan of vines
crafting a 1000 strings to my bow
The master-piece of the horizon
forever locked in stone,
Pompeii remains to be seen
in columns, marble, and bone.
