Stealing My Happiness

Crawling out of darkness,
happiness has resumed.
I smile and laugh,
live that wonderful life.
I feel alive and energized,
ready for anything.
This appreciation and joy
feels so good to me.
I hope it can last
and not fade too soon.
I wish and pray,
but still have my doubts.
Seems everytime I rise above,
something knocks me back down.

So very true just when we start to feel like we are actually getting ahead something happens to make us fall further behind...

I think we need eyes in the back of our heads for those things that knock us down in life. We just have to take it one day at a time I s'pose. Great write.
