The cemetery trees

Contributed by Urizen on Saturday, 7th June 2014 @ 08:22:25 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

The cemetery trees
Whisper low, he lives in me,
He belongs not of the earth but of the breeze,
He lives, he breathes, he lives in me

He's not some cold, old, grave
Crumbling away,
He's here, as he was yesterday
The cemetery trees solemnly say,
He lives, he sees, he's here to stay

melancholia, this is spiritual...
First thing you might feel
as you become really aware someone
is gone. But it's hard for them all there,
and the wind, as you say, whisper low, he lives in me..."
well done, short, descriptive. A balancing
tone. I really appreciate this one!
Thanks!
Peace!
