|
Walking on the grass so soft
Upon the forest floor;
Dancing with the souls of those
Whose lives have gone before.
Pebbles on the path we walk
Below the sky so blue;
Sinking down into the depths
Where I can stay with you.
Trees that pass on either side
Along the path to show
Dangers present on the way
To where I need to go.
Flowers grow to mark the way
To a friendship that was true;
Resting place among the grass
For one as good as you.

this is beautifully penned, perfect in style and the flow
is incredible! the images in the poem and my mind for
having read it are amazing! it seems kind of sad
though, like the one friend is walking through a
cemetery visiting..., *nudges you to use titles* lol

| I love the style of this poem. Each stanza builds upon the next up until the last one. Nature poems always get me and this is a very good one. |
