Release
It comes and surrounds
Over rides my system
I cant take it
The pressure builds and I cant take it
Its not bad till im alone
Meds only do so much
But I know something for the rest
Something to release the pressure
The pent up emotion
Take the knife in my hand
Run my thumb over the edge
Sharp enough
Take it and run it lightly across my wrist
Harder , harder Harder
I have to press, I have a goal
Have to see blood
The beads press fromm your slits
That’s enough for now
People see, people don’t see
They only see what they want to see
They don’t care
A little every day
Cuts run all down your arm
Crave the irritation
Every day, it’s a habit
I need it, I need release

for a while and read some poems and get to know
some of us- and us you; truly raw heartfelt honest

I would like to echo the comments of Ladyfawn.
Poetry can be a release from the anguish of life, a chance to show the world your colours.
It is always interesting to be presented with the emotions of others, to help understand their lives and their pain.
