Not angry
Not envious
Not willing to change
nor demanding a change
from you

Not hoping for a miracle
Not waiting for the same
Not minding as the clock ticks
again, again, again...
nor wanting a pattern
in a world of random

Not offering my friendship
or a way across the stream
that may be deep
or shallow;
and I avoid both if I can

Not staying in
just incase mail delivers
a direction
in which I won't fail...
but I just did

Not bothering to read?
I don't blame you
I'm sure I wrote this before.

I sense a certain ambivalence here. i hope you find a better place to be than this.

Poetically, I enjoy the turns of phrase and flow and beat of the piece.
