selfstruggles

My hope for change is dwindling
The northern star
Even seems to be distancing
The cut in the sky is turning into a scar.
Light is fading
As the dark rises
The depression is raiding
My heart is getting tired of the surprises.
It's just a phase
They wouldn't know
They can't see my heart within the blaze
Others just come to watch the show.
My emotions are sickening
They change every hour
The depression is the only one thickening
My perfect little rose fading and wilting to a black flower.
My love
Everything is making me think of you
Yet, what I write of
Is to try and guide you through.
Some job I must be doing
This wouldn't inspire anybody
What I write of shall be my undoing
This is just my life's parody.
I hope you read this
Because I need my words to be heeded
Because what we were at the beginning is what I miss
Because one less issue is what I've needed.
