Shhhhhhhh

Contributed by dvtpdw on Saturday, 24th May 2014 @ 09:34:49 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Shhhhhh, please give one a moment's peace
Quiet, what will it take to give a soul release

Racing, the words wander around the track
Never forward as they are always looking back

Hearts seeking solace in a second's respite
Fix the past will not make the future right

What transpired in the days long gone by
Can't be vanquished in the blink of an eye

Yesterday's in the thoughts that silently creep
Tomorrow's in the eyes that forgot to weep

Today's in the moments of deep disguise
What's left can only be seen by God's eyes

deeply moving and heartfelt, it sounds like you
are handling whatever/whoever, and are far too
long overdue for a l o n g h o t s o a k in the tub

Good job on capturing an essence of the madness of life.

Nessa is right on the tub. Some really solid points exposed...well done!

Indeed
the need for a time out
to just chill and think things over
is so
very
hard to get.

In the hectic mayhem that we call life, a moment to ourselves tends to be a very rare commodity. I certainly hope you find your moment (psst...lock the bathroom door so they can't bother you!!)
Very lovely write.
Thanks for sharing...
