Back On the Bus

I've considered many things of late-
inconsequential, I might add...
how at the end, nothing matters-
Just writing this, I feel afraid. (you assumed I would write 'sad'? I just did- Oh snap!
You've been had!).
I'll toss in a rhyme or three
if you'll allow (graciously) to let this slide as poetry-
now to the task, let's get it made- (prior line, granted, lame)
perhaps luck will shine (Oh, happy eyes!)
and the Bus won't stop for me today- missing it I won't contemplate-
(Five line stanza's all but this- Oh, such inexpensive bliss.)
Delete Back Space End, Home;
who thought a keyboard capable to poem?
Reinforced (Oh, brutal) Irony- pounded nail spiteful clarity-
inconsequential, all of it- I know, I know,
I should let this small point sit. (Never knowing when to quit... toying now, to be a feces).
Guilt (unique, to our species) is such amazing stuff- I already carry it for you
it's true, sitting through this pile of silt;
filtered sifted shaken stirred-
witness to this wreck I've built,
a life-portrait sitting of 'Disturbed'.
I must conclude, repair my face- the Bus is coming-
grass is growing, a doggie needing food,
The easy way would be (for me) to wave,
“I'm fine, no need to slow!”- And I would, dammit (I'll have you know),
But I'm loved and love and so, (chin up!) on the bus I go.

Haha:) I love this, and the little pokes at writers and our idiosyncrasies. This was my favourite part:
Guilt (unique, to our species) is such amazing stuff- I already carry it for you
it's true, sitting through this pile of silt;
filtered sifted shaken stirred-
witness to this wreck I've built,
a life-portrait sitting of 'Disturbed'.

those minutes- and a glimpse into your life:: all of our
lives collective as we find poetry in the world, time to
sit and observe on a street, as life breathes along,
hugs n' love nessa |

This poem is pretty damn cool, dammit!
I too am curious if the bus got you there on time. I remember trying to get one in the rain and the bus driver of the one that stopped said my bus was the one right behind him. That bus drove right on by!
I enjoyed this. Thank you.

What seems a steady trickle of fickle thought in random rhyme is once again a view from eyes that see the duplicity in the simple things we take for granted!
"who thought a keyboard capable to poem?"
NOT ME!
You have coaxed fixed horizons and narrow concepts to expand. This is pure seduction of the intelligence; and an invitation to depart ourselves. Hardly "inconsequential, all of it" No, no!
The bus is coming..and we would have you know, that few could make standing by the road waiting for a bus, such a hopeful metaphor for life!

I saw on the buses before
Now earlier i said i see or saw
Or sensed a man
Who looks alot like one of the actors from on the busses
The tall one with long teeth
Ask your mum
Even if im wrong
Thinking of nothing
Makes thoughts thought with out thinking
Fun
By the way wether or not your house is haunted
I know without dought
I couldn/'/t say
Ieo her other friend is blessing her house today |
