A fly has one life of around 30 minuets,
in that time they spend it, living long enough
to finding a partner and when they meet their
Fermions alter the others brainwaves so
they can never love anyone else.
Many people search for that one person to
recreate the love life of a fly many people don't find
it in 80 years. To those who do, I feel sorry for you,
because I want the pressure of knowing one wrong move
and the genetic code that could of been created will be lost.
I want to know that I have something to try harder to achieve
to keep the love of my life.
I am sorry, maybe my injustices are enough to reincarnate
me as a fly and love the way I was ment to.
Because after all, those buzzing bugger's beat their wings
1,000 per second and none can deny that is impressive.

Is it better to live on the edge..or to love with certainty! What a question, Mick!
The eternal struggle between two--one wants excitement; the other commitment.
Think you have nailed the hormonal agendas of male and female here…and the proof of your pudding is knowing that your delightful analogy is undoubtedly performed "1000 times per second" in real life, in the time it takes to read your write!

I did the old fly trick as a kid,
caught the fly and put it into water
thought it was dead
sprinkle of salt, that did the trick
fly fly fly
fly fly love
You make it sound so romatic
Great poem!
Peace! |
