If You Would Have Been Faithful
If you would have love me,
I would still be here today.
My life would have turn out,
In a very different way.
If you would have longed for me,
I would still be right by your side.
Feeling like I’ve always felt,
Wishing to run away and hide.
If you would have shown me attention,
I would still be holding your hand.
Even though I feel with you,
I am less of a man.
If you would have been more kind,
I would still kept holding on,
Even though I felt,
This relationship was wrong.
I guess what I’m really trying to say,
And I’ll try to be clear.
If you would have been caring,
I would probably still be here.
Regretting every day,
Always feeling down.
Wishing in my heart,
What you weren’t around.
So accept my humble thanks,
For setting my soul free.
For if you would have been faithful,
I wouldn’t be the man I turned out to be.
