Topic: anguished

Yearning for my soul to be set free
Begging yet again on bended knee

My heart's encased in knotted bows
Slowly melting for what it knows

Reach with open hands to implore
No answer as time chooses to ignore

Yesterday's devoured in today's meal
Tomorrow laughs as it doesn't feel

What hope is there when dreams die
Where's the comfort when hope cries

Search as I may, I can't find the date
When my expiration defines my fate

brilliantly quite clever; each line is so strong,
perfectly flowing throughout- then wow and oh
dear: the end lines threw me for a loop, wasn't
expecting that! one of the best poems i've read
since i came back, it begs to be read over and
over; for it breathes!

hugs n' love nessa

Hi there

Very sad and emotional yet excellent poem. One can almost feel the pain and need to just be free. A lot of people in today's time can relate to this. Well constructed reads easy. Thanks for sharing.

Greetings
Rus
