Lovers by the waterside
Kiss gently in the black summer sky
Each dreaming of the other
As they stare into opposite eyes

Some moments they will cherish forever
Some they will toss with haste
Theirs is a lost connection
Together they plan to escape

Heartfelt letters
Spell words of thanks
The possibilities are limited
The crime committed
Forgive me,
For heavens sake
