LEAVE ALL OF YOUR TROUBLES BEHIND

motion, in directions away from the source
much like the ripples from dropping a stone
a heart not ready to stay for the course
but a heart not ready to be left all alone

indications of bad decisions that we should never show
the hardest part was finding the right touch
like a pinwheel spinning from a delicate blow
i never thought that i'd like that spinning so very much

an arrow into an apple to show your true aim
an arrow to start off an unneeded war
all seemed so simple 'til that first challenge came
then the apple so swiftly, exposed to it's core

lie down for sleep to ward off your senses
shut your eyes to then shut off your mind
just know that the enemy was caught up by your fences
in sleep, you will leave all of your troubles behind...
