A REALM SO VERY FRIGHTENING

Contributed by hray42 on Tuesday, 29th April 2014 @ 07:38:23 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

that one brought me back from the dead
it is one of my most favored of potions
do not let yourself become one so misled
do not be tempted towards deep hungry oceans

instead, i suggest you remain on your spot in the square
to stand as still as a spellbound deity
frozen, should be your heart, to allow for no tear
while your eyes should be like those of the giants that rule for eternity

from an abyss existing in the blackest nightshade
come those who wreak of that lifeless netherworld
not a place for a gentle soul to be laid
but a labyrinth where the helldamned are hurled

that one did bring me back from the dead
like a bolt of velvet red hot lightning
it is better i find myself at midnight in my bed
lest i be with those chosen for that realm so very frightening...
