Here we have it
The Amerikan Dream
Surrounded by desert
Appropriately
Vegas stands a glittering whore
Legs spread wide
For any passing Joe
She's so easy
All she wants is money
This shiny sweaty Bunny
But look BEHIND the shiny facades,
the night black control rooms
hovering above the tinkling arcades
The black heart of the mafia looms
This black heart of Amerika
Whos tendrils stretch to every part
of an awesomely beautiful body,
probing each orifice in turn
seeking always to find
what turns this willing maiden on
Then milk her for her money...
And America the beautiful
Becomes Amerika the whore
Los Vegas shines with a million lights
In the middle of a darkening night
Such an empty triumph of sleaze
A culture brought to its knees
To suck at the p*** of Mammon
Los Vegas - a red light of warning
A degredation made heart-warming
A distorted mentality in this land
A carnival mirror of the bland
In the mirror-ball of Los Vegas
We see a million reflections
Of the painted whore's face
Of modern Amerika

Hmmmmmmmm.........reminds me of the Books of Matthew, and the Revelation-thing I have not touched nor seen for months since I absconded for Buddhism...but yes, the dangers and the temptations are real enough as shown here. |
