When I see my fellow men,
Americans, just like me
We share a common goal, within our soul...
To be free
And Glory flies above us all
Freeing us from the past
We’re united strong
We are where we belong
In America.... Free at last!
We were born on distant shores
From many different lands
We came to join the dream, to add our voice
and lend our hands
Now Glory flies above us all
Freeing us all from the past
We’re united strong
We are where we belong
In America.... Free at last!
Allegiance rising from dawn’s early light
Bright stars and stripes shining
In red, blue and white
With liberty and justice and for all they can bring
We come now together and all sing
Let freedom ring!
And now ole Glory flies above us all
Freeing us all from the past

We are where we belong

America, America, America
Let Freedom Ring!
Now old Glory flies above us all

achieve citizenship, if only the whole country felt

Speaking from a point of view that embodies the content, I wish more people would think this way. Perhaps then we could progress past the multi-million dollar popularity contests that have become part and parcel of this great nation and have real leaders instead of the greed-encrusted dolts that reside rin those positions of power.
