I was wrong

Topic: SadPoetry

I know I did some wrong things
But baby believe me my intentions were good
I never wanted to fall for anyone else
But in him I lost myself
Remember when it use to be all good?
And everybody was aiming to be like us
What happened baby?
What happened to you?
What happened to me?
When them sweet kisses suddenly aren't so sweet anymore.
When the "love yous" turn into a foreign language
I know it's not a reason to ever betray you
But I felt unloved
I know that wasn't your intention to neglect me
But in the middle of you working hard to build an empire for us you left me alone
Then he came along whispering sweet nothings
Making promises that you once made telling me he'll never leave me alone
But listen baby I know I was wrong
It doesn't matter how many times I apologize
The wrong will not be undone
You won't forget
He won't forget
Or I won't forget
Now I see it wasn't worth it
I'm wrong and you're gone

If he truly loves you, I hope he finds his way back and gets things straightened out with you.
A sad write. Too often those working to make things wonderful forget that what is the most wonderful is the other person in the relationship, not the worldly things around us.

Relationships are a slippery slope... The best advice is to treat others with the same respect you want to be treated with. Mistakes happen, sure, but cheating isn't a mistake. It's a deal breaker.

The best thing you could do is move on, and learn from this mistake.

Keep up the writing.
