We all have something to say
Despite the silence in our hearts
We live to talk, we live to express
Smothered by ourselves and the world around us
Fighting for that control, depressed at our lose of it
Wanting, needing, feeling, but never healing
Things to say that can't be understood
So we embrace the silence and hope for the day it's lifted.

Amen to that. Brings to mind a quote from Oliver Wendell Holmes:
Alas for those that never sing,
But die with all their music in them.

Very nicely done and well stated. Don't hold back.
Was this line:
Fighting for that control, depressed at our lose of it
Supposed to say
Fighting for that control, depressed at our loss of it
?
Lose just sounded a bit odd to me.
to YPDC.
