I'm not from around here,
My mother always said I was from another planet,
My yes means yes,
and my no means no,
But no one seems to understand it,
Life is a game,
To which I'm forced to play in,
You supposed to leave hints or clues,
But whatever you choose,
You're feelings have to stay in,
I don't think I'm that strange really
I'm just trying to find out what life is about,
I'm a Rubik's cube,
When you don't understand me,
I seem impossible to figure out.

i do think it okay not to know
here this maybe says it
i know, but the salesman
he or she, with the suffix
male intoned brandished
all kinds of nonsense, maybe even
too much in a daft nonsensical
way, again and again, perhaps
just in case you'd maybe buy it
so they asked lots of questions
pointed ones and ones that
were only shallow
if only there was a way
to solve that damn puzzle
that could be explained in
one simple sentence,
but there's not.
nobody is from around here
i sometimes feel myself
this piece is such a reminder of that!
Great Poem!
Peace! |
