The bread got filled with soup as I put it down the bowl
I slightly took it to my mouth and bite the wet piece off
As he just sad there
Still
The silence felt the room with fear
I hated these moments
Never felt worse
Or nor more sad
‘Cause the only thing I wish for us
Is to be happy
I always remember the times we laugh
And the times we just can’t stop smiling
I try to forget all these moments
Right now
I try to forget that they were even real
But they’re here
We can’t hide them
We can’t force them to go away
As he ate and I just sat there
Wondering when my food would get cold
His deep, so fast breath said it all
I couldn’t help thinking
“This isn’t right”
“My heart feels like heavy thunder”
“My eyes are about to scream”
“And my stomach wants to throw up”
This wasn’t the way for us to be
But how should I end this silence?
How could I end this pain?
Who of us did the wrong thing?
And who did the right?

Him
The both of us
I’ll never know…
