I eke out a life between two Gods
One I love and the other is in pain
It is strange to love one that is bad
It is even more strange to love
and not be loved back
In the clear bath water is a perfect image
A face handsome and clean
There are no misunderstandings
Or misgivings
Only the delusion of peace
Behind my portrait is a hole in the wall
Where a mother cried in the hallway
Where a boy and girl laughed
During the daytime

This made me read it again and then some more. Very unique and rather splendidly written. |

'In the clear bath water is a perfect image,' now that's a great line reiterating need for clarity! Great imagery and indepth exploration of behind the scenes of family life and the last line making the personal search even more poignant. |
