Intimate Stranger

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Hello?
Can you see me?
Can you hear me?
I'm screaming loudly.

Is it only when I change who I am that I'm considered important?
I'm not silicone;
I have flesh and it can be bruised.
And I'm bruised everyday by the effects of rumors being spread about me; ruining my image that I worked so hard to keep.

Just when I thought I could trust you,
There you were to betray me.
Thanks, thanks a lot for wounding me once more.
You have done your job.

Thank you for lying to me and saying you loved me when in fact you didn't.
Thank you for giving me false hope and opening my eyes to see that you weren't for me.
You kissed me with Judas' lips and opened up the grave of our relationship...
Thanks a lot I really owe you one.

I triumph over this heartbreak
And bury you in your nearly fatal deception.
I found someone else who promises me Paradise if I believe in Him.
He is whom I want forever.

You stomped on my heart,
He picks it up and molds it into His own.
I feel His heartbeat and He feels mine.
To you I blow a kiss goodbye. Have a nice life...

Sincerely,
Your once intimate stranger

Wow, this is really dripping with emotion and sarcasm. Very nicely done.

I am sure a lot of us can relate to being an "intimate stranger".

Thank you for an enjoyable read and photo 1036153111_gif.gif to YPDC.

I suppose this is meant to be sarcastic, but to me it sounds like you truly should thank that person. It seems they could've strung you along longer and caused even greater pain. Sometimes the only time we can see clearly is when we are seemingly at our lowest point. Only then can something far greater reveal itself.

Thank you for sharing this. I enjoyed the read.
