The Monster

Contributed by Jyssvw22 on Tuesday, 11th March 2014 @ 05:32:48 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I close my eyes
Tho I am desperate to see
I shut you out
When I should keep you tightly
Once I have you
Locked in my sights
I can bring you paradise
Show you true love

I keep quiet
When all I want to do is scream
In a release of stormy winds
The tide of the times has blown in
The moment of reconciliation is slated to begin
Upon us now
The howling winds

A symphony of similar thoughts
Connected through body and spiritual hopes
Purposefully touching
Deliberately inviting
Myself into your heart
My lies now your secrets too
Compassion is exemplified by few
I beg you to see beyond
Take me for who I have become
Something unfortunately new

I knew I'd be revisiting this one.

I connect with the push and pull of emotions. Which is right? Which is wrong? The maddening part is there is simply no way to know until we have made the wrong choice. If the sure sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and expecting a different result, then the solution must be change. Keep changing, keep striving for a better you. The only true monsters are the ones we don't face.

In other words, this is fantastic.
