Gratitude

Topic: oops

Gratitude

So many wonders we see each day
From sunrise to sunset
We rush through the day blindly
What are you missing I bet
Gratitude

We are graced with sunshine
We are blessed with the rain
We always have God’s love
Especially when we are in pain
Gratitude

Take time in the morning
When we first see rays of light
To be thankful for the day ahead
And work to make some ones day bright
Gratitude

Thank the Lord as you lie down
In your bed so warm
For the blessings he has given
Keeping you from harm
Gratitude

Gratitude is a way of life
Living in thankfulness
Sharing God’s love
Feeling truly blessed

what a lovely reminder, not only of what we have to be thankful for, but that we need to help others be thankful as well! You've left your reader hopeful, wiser, with a good feeling!

would you please also take the time to comment on others poems to "make someones day bright". They will appreciate it as much as you do, I'm sure of it.

You're totally correct.
Very often people look at what others have instead of looking what they have themselves.
We should be grateful for what we have, not envious of what we have not.

I have always loved your comments on my work, and have always enjoyed your poetry. This poem here is a masterpiece, the simply message within these lines is the same message most all of us tend to forget. Thank you for reminding me of it. Thank you.
