Gravity of Weightlessness

Contributed by Invierno on Sunday, 2nd March 2014 @ 10:06:42 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

When a pen weighs a thousand tons
When a thought can’t leave the ground-
When invisible walls block the sun
Pushing screaming silent sound-
When despair is raging steep
Shouting with ‘ere a peep
Pounding in and hemming tight-
Relief found only in blackest night.
When the mind at last lets loose the day
The deepest me romps and plays,
But alas, with no recourse
Daylight finds pushes intrudes with force-
The worldly cares (Oh, what despair!)
Hone with pinpoint flair-
Gone the dreams, the fields green
No more the joys of my boy-
Laughter freedom sun and mirth
Stillborn in the days rebirth

Your words convey the inner strife that most tolerate to make it through yet another day. Your words describe to a tee the mind that never quiets, even if its a good moment. I quite related to this great write and enjoyed the path it led me on. Very very nice. Thanks for sharing, P

An eloquent transition of the bridge we can never describe--between reality and sleep!
"The deepest me romps and plays" speaks to us all for that is exactly what we do!
Then you yank us back into sunlights harsh stage.."Laughter freedom sun and mirth
stillborn in the day's rebirth"
Awakening to all the joyless aches and pains sand unfinished business of life while the child within lies captive and sublimated until next we dream.
I have never found the words to describe this path, and you have done it so well. I am in awe.
