I am the lone flower in a field of weeds.
I am the want amongst all the needs.
I feel the most at home inside my dreams.
I'm the broken stitch along the seams.
I fall apart and drift away.
I lose myself more every day.
I'm the song that no one sings.
The decayed bell that never rings.
I peel apart, and float up high
A drifting balloon inside the sky
I'm a light fading to black
A train who's run right off the track
I don't think i'm ever coming back

exactness of time is measured dutifully by decay one supposes. this is beautifully written, I like "I am the song that no one sings." It's a good line of prose, in a truly well done poem!
Thanks so much! |
