High Dosage

Contributed by Contralogicus on Sunday, 18th May 2003 @ 10:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: political

The world can be so bitter, with billions of angry yells,
Coming from the weak and frail, residing in the hells,
The very darkest, deepest recesses of our societies,
With no will for humanity or nature, but will to appease,
Their grim drug addictions, or dependence of another kind,
Perhaps on money or on sex, billions of dollars blind,
Clouded by the media, impressed by their own rhetoric,
As such they often write, but rarely read, dyslexic,
Not thinking twice they raise their glasses in a toast,
To their fat cat employers, as they love to boast,
About the progress and the upward-movement,
Of society, they pretend that it isn’t bent,
To hell, but how long can they live in the visages and oases,
Of the mind, no worry for the future, they cut down the trees,
That litter the world they cannot see, instead they build higher,
And higher buildings, adding more and more fuel to the fire.

And not so distant from this world of commerce and of greed,
Lies a dimension of sexual pleasure, as some ingrown seed,
With its twisted prickly vines wrapped around the legs of women,
As they dance like voluptuous vixens, within an iron pen,
Taunting all the love-starved men of their hard-earned dollar bills,
Flaunting what they were given, the rest which silicon fills,
At the same moment, somewhere in the night, a cameras’ wink,
Reflected in the eyes of some girl half-dressed in pink,
As she recoils like a python she is striking a deadly pose,
It’s all for you, living out the life her parents strongly oppose,
And greasy, filthy, hairy men pimp out their lovely street-wise whores,
To equally disgusting men for fun when their wives are home with chores.
The minds of her young rot when mom comes home from the street,
Disheveled and sleep deprived, stiletto heels still strapped to her feet.
The message served to them at breakfast time along with cereal,
And cartoons is sex is only good for money and to make them feel,
Like they aren’t half the social parasites they truly know they are,
And that millennia of evolution haven’t gone all that far.

The glue that binds these horrible examples of insincere,
Obscenely corrupted people together is drugs and the fear,
They face of being discovered for the shallowness of life,
They lead, trying to numb their brains to the world of strife,
They feel, from CEO’s to whores and all the garbage in between,
They have no clue all their actions are visible, ready to be seen,
By normal people, who have no intention of exploiting flaws,
In society with all tools available, they with iron jaws,
Are quick to advocate and defend their ‘cause’, they harp,
About nothing in particular, and with words as sharp,
As marbles they try to bring about some form of revolution,
But all they are capable of bringing is the speedy alienation,
Between normalcy and the despair of worthless trash,
With their drugs, and their sex, and their cash.
