The Turning

Contributed by TheTimmy56666 on Tuesday, 18th February 2014 @ 07:04:45 PM in AEST
Topic: mythology

My rage is growing
On my face it is showing
I clinch my fists
Man I'm really *****

***** that things aren't working
My body uncontrollably shaking
I scream at no one
My mental sanity is done

I throw punch after punch
On the impact my bones crunch
I scream again
This battle I cannot win

My brain feels like it is about to explode
I can't break this mental code
This rage I cannot suppress
My self control becoming less and less

I start to run down an endless road
Trying to break this rage mode
I trip and fall
Now I've lost it all

My mind goes blank
Now I'm done for
I tried to control it
But I couldn't

I feel the hair start to grow
And my hands start to heal
While other bones break
Tendons rip apart then seal

Now I'm a beast of the night
Ready to fight and kill
I've lost all my will
Self control I have no more

Self-indulgent. Try to think how you might feel this way, and why it might be you and not others.

AnotherRed... once again your comment is utterly useless :-) as TylerSpeaks said, it really does come off as insecure. If you're having a bad day, maybe you should vent in a poem instead of in the comments..... I liked this poem by the way, thanks for sharing

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
