Fire Burning

Topic: DarkPoetry

Abomination is what they said
They thought she had struck him dead
Horrid was the story told
But was she only trying to make him whole?

Witch, evil, spawn of Satan, daughter of the dark
No one saw the light of goodness it was more than a spark
They carried her to the center of town
Fire already burning to strike her life down

Then came the child small and so pure
Who knew she did not do it, he was sure
She had not attacked his brother of three
They needed to release her, let her free

For he saw the villain and came forth
If he had not, he would have no worth
His Father he accused of this terrible deed
For his heart carried an evil seed

Jealousy, his eyes shown green
No time from his wife he could glean
The child was all she loved
To the back ground he was shoved

He took the child to a field afar
And mutilated him under the stars
He thought no one saw his act
But he was followed to be exact

The brother ran to Lesann to save
The child from an early grave
She tried but could not help the child
Covered in blood she cried like animal wild

This is when a passer by
Heard her and thought a murderer he spied
He dragged her to the center of town
With fire already burning to strike her life down
