How easy it is to forget the will, the plan
The one you designed for me, specially with your hand
The times I remember when I walked away
When I denied, revised, and ignored
Your instruction because I didn't understand
Don't get comfortable is your advice
Since it is your guidance in the everchanging world
That will truly suffice
A creature of habit I must surrender my ways
Knowing that you are in control and are the provider
For all of my days
The calling and vision you allow me to see
Are tasks you have set before me and only me
To accomplish them my heart and eyes I must set on you
Through you and your grace these things will come true

How fortunate you are to have a belief to sustain you "in the ever-changing world". You write of it with such hope and trust. I wish you all things through your faith.
Would you take a moment Deidra to read and comment on others poems also? They will appreciate it as much as you do. (No one gets paid to do this..we all do it to encourage one another and inspire new writers). Your words could mean so much to someone..Thank you.
