every leaf turns green at its own pace
every bud flowers given it's own space
I cannot race,
I do not have a place,
to place a choice
or make any noise
or voice out my voice
maybe for some eyes I am still a novice
the sun will shine
trust these words of mine
the darkness is not the shade of night
it's only the last twilight.

My favorite line is "The darkness is not the shade of night.."
Your readers are reminded that things take time to unfold..people take time to bloom..and your conclusion (It's only the last twilight) leaves me with hope that darkness will bring rebirth.

Wonderful imagery and tone: sounds like me when I auditioned for the school play during freshman year; I didn't get cast as a lead, but being ensemble, I got to work my way up and show my director what I was made of. Bot hjunior and senior year I got the lead! You too will outshine them all. Take care and God bless,
