My mind gets away from me
as I'm lost inside a fantasy.
My brain won't see what my eyes see.
It's all what I make it to be.
This is my world, it's made for me.
It's just what I want it to be.
My heart is lost, my mind is free.
Please don't take this away from me.
It's how I live, it's what I breathe.
This is my life, my fantasy

Applause!! This reminds me of Walter Mitty..a fellow who lived in his imagination!
Deny it or not, we ALL see what we want to see.. because we use our own windows to look out on the world.
You've said that so cleverly! It's really fun to read!
