As I lay in my bed
Racing thoughts flow through my head
With my eyes shut tight
It is one dreary night
The night has fallen without a sound
No one walking across the ground
Not a sound from a cow
Nor a hoot from an owl
No wind for a breeze
There is stillness in the trees
These are the thoughts running through my head
As I lay in my bed

If this is any example, you should write all your works from your bed! You did a wonderful job of parading your thoughts across the page, one by one, single file..ruling out the daytime one indicator at a time.
What a silent night!
thank you for defying the silence with your thoughts!
