Within The View

Contributed by lostrelic on Tuesday, 28th January 2014 @ 06:06:29 PM in AEST
Topic: surreal

From a glance.
A short sided view, a record of appeal.
The image of the cover imprinted on the viewer, only seeing the package but not the center.
Lost in ideas of perfection, only seeking one cover the same as their own.

A glimpse of the eye.
A snapshot as thin and unrealistic as the original image.
Photos can be manipulated to show a smile on a broken face.
An image of a place with green screen reminders with small pixelation's in the bottom corner.
Nothing is real from a side view, everything turns out blurred without substance.

Our lives are a construct of the medias perception.
Selling us safety in a beautiful life like 1080p.
Telling us what we need to hear, not what we should really know.
Positive in the world is the channel set.
Ignoring the oncoming crisis, to busy looking at posts of Buddhas insights of peace.
Forgetting that he believed in ourselves to stand for what is right.
To follow all aspects of light.
Even the places that seldom see a shadow.

This world needs more then happy faces with pockets filled with prozak.
A tear is a river in a dry oasis.
A frown is a reason to find passion to turn it upside down.
Fire is reason enough to get the blood boiling.

Violence is not the answer, but doing nothing is not the cure.

Turning channels to ignore the issue is as good as not reading a paper because it brings you down.

We are the way to spread the truth.
The means on which to rewrite the wrongs that happen everyday.

Be truth.

Let it be from your lips that helps another win their battles.
Let not oppression be blinded along with justice.

Be the view.

Let not the police get away with the crimes committed in the name of safety.
Be not like our leaders who kill others because they consider them the enemy.

Know thy true enemy.

If you are pushed down by those who are suppose to lift you up, they they are the true evil.
If you have no support on a system you give into then why give to it at all?
We are more then slaves to a debt created by corporations that are too busy lining their own pockets.
Our family is more important then the military complex that is designed to create more enemies then it is to protect.
Dropping bombs on countless civilians is not progress. It is not the dream our forefathers sought.

Know thy true self.

See the power in togetherness.
Look at the strength when we are united then apart.
Following our individual dreams is great, when we all help others to follow theirs.
Nothing better then a world set of love.
We are just not there yet.
