Leave me alone
Is what I say
But what I mean
Is find a way
I have too many flaws
For me to embrace
But I'll try to change
In an effort to erase
I just don't know what to do,
Or what to say, or what to think
So shed some light
To help me grow
And removes the weeds
Nurturing the soil
And work to break
This godless mold
And help to shape
My very soul
You just can't know what I see,
Or what I think, or what I'll be.

Once someone told me I was wonderful, I was loathe to let them down. when someone believes you are better than you know you are…why on earth would you want to prove them wrong?
Your poem says this lesson so well.
Find a way..shed some light…help me grow..help to shape my very soul.
Your writing is wonderful..and so too must you be.
