In memory or Lochie

Topic: PetPoems

The loss of a pet can leave you blue
And wondering now just what to do
i loved her then as I love her still
My empty nights, I need to fill

Her time with me was short but sweet
I miss her meowing for her treats
My bed at night, feels empty so
Without her presence by my toes

I know she crossed the rainbow bridge
The one across from heavens ridge
she waits for me, I know she does
She took with her all my love

She may be just a cat to some
People think that I am dumb
To grieve so deeply for a cat
But she to me,was more than that.

My Lochie cat, I miss you so
I dont know why you had to go
You've left me broken in my heart
The tears i cry coz we're apart

Thank you cat, for choosing me
And now I set your spirit free
To jump and run and play with fun
Until my time on earth is done.

Missing you Lochie Monster - my baby cat who saved me when I needed saving most

I have a cat. I would be crushed if I lost him - he's my baby.

Very good write.
