IT IS WHAT IT IS........

ORIG: (906) Poems
2014 CO CO CNTY

TAKE a long look
Into
My outward appearance
Can you see
Clearly within?
Or are you
Fooled by my ways
Of running
Interference

To be privileged enough
To even get A
Glimpse
One blink and we're
Looking at
Disappearance,

I go off
Like A Gopher
& go under ground
To hide my
True self,
It takes years of
Practice &perseverance,
I don't take Chances,
Anymore,
I've plotted&
Planned &
Made demands,
But usually
With no success
Before,
I've got
EXCUSES
Galore,
To make an
Exit route
Easily a available
I treasure my
Own personal
Private
Exit doors.....
They're next to
Impossible for
Anyone else
To find or even
Know they're there

Each door is
Completely
Different
Than the one
Before,
I've come to
Rely on my
Escape doors
Heavily lately....

I've even got A
Door
Through the
Marble floor,
And I'm not
Even Rich
Or even close,
I'm
GHETTO, GUTTER
DIRT POOR,

When it gets Str8
Up hectic&
My mind
Becomes
Infected
By to many
Opportunities
Gone by,
Overly protective,
Feelings from
Paths I've selected,
Foolishly attempting
To get past
Loves,
Resurrected,
All the while
The root of
It all
Is more & more
NEGLECTED,
It Is What It Is,
The outcome
Is exactly
What y poo u expected
Your at
Rock Bottom
And your whole
Existence is
Heavily effected,
Towards the
Exit
You're directed

Exit Stage Left
EVEN.....

You've gotta keep
It right,
Take A look,
Inspect it,
There Peace&
Love& Joy&
Truth& Light
You've gotta find
The right moves
That will allow
You to
Collect it

It Is What It Is,
No more No Less,
Under any
Circumstances
You'll never hear
Me
Confess,
Even under
INTENSE DURESS,

To. Cover tracks,
Make A
Large Mess,
Which causes
HIGH Levels
Of Stress,
Which h is when
I
Escape
Through the doors,
Unless
There is
Something
That will
Benefit me
I must posess
Then minoote seconds
May be less,
Are spent....
It Is What It Is
When you see
It for that the first
Time, it will save e
You a lot of
DRAMA,
Atmospheric. Conditioning,
Is the key,
That's where
My DOORS,
matter most,
Open one,
Step thru,
Like a magician,
You've entered a
New plain,
Slam it shut behind
You no one will
Complain,
Begin your
Hustle,
Struggle,
Wiggle,
Grind mode,
Work out,
While all the other doors of yours,
Disappear,
Reflecting ,
Your black,
Evil,
Eyes,
Who"'ve
Never been
Known
To show
FEAR............'

This reads like a rap song. What you need is a south-facing wall with double doors that open onto the sun. Fling them open and run out into the garden. It's a better place to be. That old house is too damn dark.

Far out Man. I like it. Leaves me feeling introverted, which is not always a bad thing.
