The Brotherhood of Man

Topic: InspirationalPoems

How can I love a brother
If I am still a boy
You see me running off to school
You see me leave my toy

I am the lonely brother
I am the lonely man
I strive for such perfection
When love's so close at hand

What do I do to show this love
Why do I feel so weak
My spirit wanders here and there
When love is all I seek

This feeling comes and taketh me
To shores I cannot find
This power seems to weaken me
Am I the loving kind?

Please leadeth me to lands I seek
Where love is free and pure
I feel so sick of lonelyness
Who has my Master's cure?

When I approach the shores of Man
He welcomes me within
I cast all fears behind me now
I cast away my sin

There is a reason for this love
The kind my grasp can feel
This power strengthens weaker ones
My power built of steel

So now I am the trusted one
With sons on every shore
I walk away with head held high
MY LOVE FOREVER , MORE

Sometimes being alone isn't too bad. Finding love does sound somewhat more enjoyable though haha.
