The fourth dream

Contributed by iodinelove on Thursday, 9th January 2014 @ 08:29:33 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

The fourth dream

How callous my heart has become
That it can no longer know the sounding of its own song
That it has come to steady at the affliction of its own wounds

Did I ever love her?

The fourth dream
Is a whisper
A heavy breath of pain

The fourth dream is the last time I saw her

You tell part of your tale..and leave me wondering what of the rest that brought you to this fourth dream?
Curious and unfinished..you trust your reader to write the rest!
such a compliment! Thank you.

I am enjoying reading your dream poems, very interesting alluring and haunting, leaves the reader with a sense of a puzzle to solve, just as all dreams are, Great theme, love it,xxx

And the death knell of love is when we question its existence, after championing it for so long...

Pain and dissolution capably worded, and far too reminiscence for this ragged Lothario.
