Mournful soul.

Thoughts of you lingering constant in my head.
All alone I lie, seeking comfort from a lonesome bed.
Not a sound comes from this soul, silent as those who remain dead.
Can't speak when there is nothing to be said.
Try to shake the sorrow that is embedded in my bones, so I take to my guitar and play.
I sing from my soul, expressing feelings of only forlorn and dismay.
Candles cast my dancing silhouette with the illusion of happiness, such a sad display.
I watch as the candles struggle with their liveliness and begin to fade away.
Darkness invades, and begins to engulf my entire room.
The moon illuminates, and soon I'm consumed by my gloom.
Leading the music that was being created to doom.
Another day will arrive, desolately once again, all this shall begin to resume.
