I am a master builder
I consider myself the best
Endlessly I toil
To make something I’ll caress
But around me they lay
The cogs and the cracks
With nothing to say
Of one more failure
My fingers grow weary each time that you touch them
And each single embrace spurs memories forgotten
Surely one day the creation won’t shatter
Every day my friends say it just don’t matter
Still skillfully I craft fine instruments to help
To create the identity I wish inside myself
Well-mannered and soft spoken, is who I wish to be
Callous and cold hearted, is all that she does see
