The Veil

Contributed by christybthepoet on Saturday, 21st December 2013 @ 01:25:10 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

the breeze gently playing with my hair
patches of flesh feeling the air
as strands play with and delight my skin
there is a serene coolness without but fever within
a hunger, a passion that burns through my being
the core of desire, a manifestation of needing
fully acknoledging the sounds and the sight
i wait patiently beneath the full moon''s light
that reflects and radiates against the color of flesh
while the stars flicker and dance with extreme unrest
anticipation, the night lingers, hovering
golden locks offer my only covering
behind this veil of secrecy,
i wait for you to uncover me
reveal the spark that gives birth to flame
subdue any reservation as you call out my name
your touch is more devoted than my wispy strands
against your display of desire, no apprehension stands
waves applaud as they crash to the shore
a standing ovation as we both long for more
more than anything we have ever seen
more than a fantasy more than a dream
it is the art of two bodies becoming one
until the rising of the sun
