Topic: Suicide

i'm falling down again
can't get up but dont want them to win
they throw me away like garbage in the bin
hatred always there and always thrown around
either through silence or the loudest sound
this would be silent seeing it's a note
probably hateful seeing it was by me it was wrote
i sit and cry and expect it to magically happen
but i turn to my knife, my friendly weapon
lay me down and let me sleep
for tomorrow i'll be dead and you will weep
but the pain it will only last a while
the number of suicides, the body in a pile
i'll become just another number in your stupid survey
i'm in my basement, rotting with decay
no one will find me cuz my parents are dead
my poor little sister, bullet in the head
you shake your head and look back at me
look into my eyes, my face what do you see?
tell me now and don't hold it in
look past the bleached eyes and greenish pale skin
rotten and decayed but still i smile
i know in my face you haven't seen that in a while
now i'm happy no more sorrow
perhaps you feel bad and join me tomorrow
suicide is the new fad
you know you crave it ever so bad
the tingly feeling up your skin
as the razor, it's slit so thin
the blood a brilliant red and the warmth as you ooze
scared of the pain? drink some booze
lessens the tenseness and helps you think
before and after, now a brilliant blue then an ugly pink
drained of blood and sad thought
the wars with people you have fought
though it seems as if you had loss
but it's for them who live and are crucified upon the cross

I really identify with this. You read my mind.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
