tears in his eye's
not wanting to sleep
the man that threatened his life
his mom decided to keep
daddy but she promised me
that he was gone to stay
I just hold him closely
not knowing what to say
dad she broke my heart
she took the smile off of my face
so now it's just me & you
your gonna have to take her place
with tears balled up inside me
I said son I'll make it right
I promise threw this life
I'll always hold you tight
this was worse than dynamite
it felt more like a bomb
I've always been doctor dad
say hello to mr. mom
